"Auffant" by Auffant (World Artist from New York City, NY)

Composer, performer, and producer, Felipe Baez Auffant, releases an outstanding self titled debut CD, "Auffant." This album is comprised of beautiful World/Caribbean instrumental music featuring Auffant on the nylon string guitar. His agility on the guitar is magical as he creates songs that sparkle with irresistible appeal. Opening up the CD, the song, "Astor," is vibrant and lively as the guitar reels you in with a catchy melody. The songs, "Phase 1" and "Phase 2" have a mellower feel as Auffant captures his audience with hypnotic charm. You will like the funky groove on the song, "FretStep," as the driving rhythm moves with fascinating enchantment. Winding up the CD, the song, "Domingo," is mesmerizing as the guitar deftly plays the melodic melody. If you are looking for some marvelous World/Caribbean music that is refreshing and delightful to hear, then take a listen to the album, "Auffant," as you will really enjoy it.

"Elevation" by Alejandro Santoyo (Ambient Artist)

"Elevation" is the recently released New Age CD by Alejandro Santoyo and is one you will surely enjoy. The superb collection of instrumental songs on this album is richly textured and features Santoyo impressively playing the piano. The musical structure of his songs is deeply expressive and carries thought provoking entertainment. As you listen to the first track, "Nenita," you can feel the passion flowing from the piano as the delicate melody whisks you away to a soothing time and place. The palette of sweet sounds on the song, "Lullaby," instills an ambiance of peaceful relaxation. The wonderful song, "La Llorona (feat. Omar Villanueva)" is beautifully blended with crisp piano and silky acoustic guitar. The title track, "Elevation" features angelic choir voices sweetly setting a serene tone. You will thoroughly enjoy the exquisite New Age music on the album, "Elevation," especially is you are a fan of Yanni or Enya.

"LTP Learning to play" by JJacob (Electronic Artist from Greece)

Talented artist, JJacob, releases an excellent collection of ambient Electronic music on his debut album, "LTP Learning to play." JJacob is a self taught musician and he is not afraid to make that statement. As you listen through his entire album, one would think he had some kind of training as his music is quite melodic and has a multitude of layered sounds with a nice dynamic balance. Opening up the CD, "Traveler I - The Journey Begins," is vibrant with a steady strong rhythm and rich synth strings. Another song, "Time noise," is bursting with rhythmic beats swirling around the lush sounds of the synths as they build up to a grand, powerful feel. "Playground," has mysterious sound and flows with a terrific eerie sensation. Although this album is mainly instrumentals, "Learning to Play," features hypnotic vocals that caress the well orchestrated instrumentation. If you are a fan of Electronic music with dark tonality, then the album, "LTP Learning to play," is just what you need to listen to.
