"Where the Skies End" by Cardamar (Ambient Artist from the Netherlands (NL))

"Where the Skies End" by Cardamar is a hypnotic assembly of ambient compositions. Throughout this entire collection, listeners are induced into the trance of an impressive combination of sound effects held together with well-arranged percussion. "Stuck In a Loop" best conveys this CD's mature, serious tone and catchy drum arrangements. What's more, the introduction of rarely used electronic sounds and percussion instruments, like in "Obscure Scenery" and "Chilling on the Furnace," highlights Cardamar's originality. Simply put, Cardamar's willingness to venture away from the norm results in what's best described as enjoyable experimentation. Furthermore, "Where the Sky Ends" is finished with successful production, allowing every song to proudly flaunt their deep-rooted emotional appeal. All in all, this album is a must-have for those who enjoy electronica/ambient tunes with a refreshing degree of creativity!
